Honor Council Welcomes Class of 2018!
Class of 2018 Welcome
On Tuesday, August 19th, the Class of 2018 joined together at Williams Athletic Field for the welcome address. At the event, Honor Council Chair, Dominique Beaudry, spoke about the importance of conducting ourselves in a way we can be proud of and urged first-years to seek out opportunities to learn, connect, and enjoy all Duke has to offer.
Class of 2018 Signs Duke Community Standard
On Thursday, August 21st, first-year students participated in a Duke tradition by signing the Duke Community Standard, affirming:
I will not lie, cheat, or steal in my academic endeavors;
I will conduct myself honorably in all my endeavors; and
I will act if the Standard is compromised.
